We have teamed up with GMF Motor Factors to deliver evening training Courses.
The evenings are a mix of theory and practical tasks designed to improve both knowledge and skills.
The idea is you come straight from work, we provide tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival to keep you going.
This minimises lost workshop hours, so the cost of training is kept to a minimum.
This is the foundation SI course; The course looks at using scan tools, gauges, & multi-meters to help diagnose faults. It also introduces some oscilloscope use but it is not expected that delegates will have prior oscilloscope experience.
The sessions consist of both theory and practical activities.
The course aims to develop skills & knowledge in;
Session 1
Mechanical Function of the Engine (Air Flow)
Compression, vacuum, Air Mass Meters,
Manifold Absolute pressure sensors, and turbo control systems.
Session 2
Fuel delivery (Injection)
Oxygen sensors, fuel trim analysis, Fuel pressure and fuel flow, Injectors
Session 3
Exhaust gas Measurement ( Combustion)
EGR, catalyst performance, miss-fire measurement and using a gas analyser
