Chassis Technology Courses

Do you want to know more about stability Systems?

Are you struggling with diagnosing, repairing and understanding ABS, traction control, ESP, systems ?

GotBoost offer two courses aimed to help technicians understand, repair and diagnose chassis systems.

stability basic

Stability Basics

This course looks at the function, operation and design of Stability Systems.

This instructor-led training course focuses on the operation and function of anti-lock brakes, stability control and traction control systems.
Technicians can learn how to these systems have developed from basic anti-lock braking systems to complex stability systems.

Who is it for: All automotive aftermarket technicians

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of braking systems

Duration: One evening or 3 Hours

Topics covered will include the components and operation of anti-lock brake,  stability and traction control systems, which are essential for understanding more complicated braking and chassis control systems.
A better understanding of how these systems operate will enable technicians to become more efficient in system diagnostics and repair.
Course discussion will include how yaw sensors, tyre slip, and driver inputs affect vehicle stability.
It investigates methods of control, such as brake pressure modulation, torque management,  & drive by wire.
Including how system integration allows information to be shared between chassis and powertrain controllers.

Stability System Testing & Repair

This course examines the testing & repair of Stability Systems.

This practical-led training course focuses on the testing of anti-lock brakes, stability control and traction control systems.
Technicians can learn how to assess & repair these systems for correct operation using scan tools, meters and oscilloscopes.

Who is it for: Advanced automotive aftermarket technicians

Prerequisites: Competent scan tool & oscilloscope users

Duration: One evening or 3 Hours

Topics covered will include methods for testing Stability system components to ensure satisfactory repair and operation.
A better understanding of what, where and how to test these systems, will enable technicians to become more efficient in system diagnostics and repair.
Course discussion will include how to identify passive and active wheel speed sensors, using scan tools and live data alongside multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
Analysis & Evaluation of data to ensure correct diagnosis.
Including best practice in the repair of these safety critical systems.
