So garages need to keep abreast of the changes in diesel technology, the test equipment and methods of diagnosis if they are to remain profitable.
This course looks at the technology behind the three fuel delivery systems in common use on modern light vehicles.
Electronic rotary pump
The unit injector or PD system
Common rail
It is aimed at technicians who want to learn how to test these systems with scan tools and introduces basic oscilloscope tests where necessary to prove faults.
