GotBoost teamed up with Technical Topics for Autotechnician’s Big Day Out 5
On Saturday 11th May at The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent for a training day with a ‘DIFFERENCE’
The day began with all the delegates downloading and signing into a phone app to enable them to vote during the presentations.
The day started with a quick overview and we were straight into the first quiz.
Followed by the first fault.
The car chosen was a BMW i3 which when the customer pressed the button…nothing happened.
The delegates then had to choose what tools, tests and results using the app.
The principle of social proof was highlighted as a force for good and how it can lead the technician down the diagnostic garden path as and when the opportunity presented itself.
Even a power cut couldn’t stop the learning later in the afternoon.
