Adblue/SCR Course Synopsis
This Adblue Training Course is structured to provide the technician with the necessary knowledge to carry out an effective diagnosis and repair of the AdBlue/SCR/DeNox system.
Starting with an overview of the legislation that has required the introduction of these systems to meet emissions control limits. Where the AdBlue/SCR/DeNox system fits into the overall emission reduction process of modern light vehicles.
It examines the science behind the reduction process, including why the reduction fluid is required, and the safe handling of AdBlue.
The identification and functionality of the individual system components of a typical system. How the modules are connected and the communication protocols.
It explains the common failure modes and fault status indications as well as the legal requirements of the system.
The course also provides the opportunity to refine your diagnostic processes, using case studies and real-world examples.
Using information systems, Live data, TSB’s wiring diagrams, oscilloscopes, multimeters and gauges to evaluate the data provided by the ECU and test functions that are available for system evaluation.
This course is classroom-based, which will allow us to take it on the road. But it’s not all theory, practical skills are also taught bench testing components and evaluating data.
